Small steps. A meaningful goal.

The work behind the progress

Practical guidance. Real-life follow-through.

A list of targets is not the same as a plan someone can live with. Coaching helps bridge that gap without losing sight of the person behind the goal.

Make it manageable

Turn targets into actions.

Help the buyer understand priorities, build a workable budget, and identify savings or debt-management actions that fit their circumstances.

Keep it human

Support without judgment.

Create space for honest conversations about setbacks and competing demands. Encourage progress without promising a credit score, approval, or a closing date.

Work as a team

Close the communication gap.

Keep next steps clear, share appropriate progress, and bring questions back to the lender when financing guidance needs to be clarified.

Your role in the process

One buyer. A coordinated path.

The lender defines the financing starting point. The coach helps the buyer work on preparation, with clear handoffs and respect for each professional's role.

Understand the starting point.

Review the lender's guidance and listen to the buyer's own goals and constraints.

Build a practical plan.

Agree on manageable actions, priorities, and a useful next check-in.

Support follow-through.

Help the buyer navigate setbacks and keep the right teammates informed.

Coordinate the next review.

Bring financing questions back to the lender as the buyer's circumstances change.

What makes a good partnership

Expertise matters.
So does how you use it.

We are interested in coaches who can make financial preparation understandable, collaborate with lenders and Realtors, and keep the buyer's interests ahead of a sale.

  • Practical experience and a clear scope of practice.
  • Reliable communication and respectful accountability.
  • Thoughtful handling of sensitive buyer information.
Buyer-first expectations

Support that earns trust.

Guide, do not pressure.

Buyer participation should not become a sales pitch for unrelated products or services.

Be clear about boundaries.

Explain your role and bring lending, legal, tax, or other specialist questions to the appropriate professional.

Make the work visible.

Keep agreed actions and appropriate progress updates clear so the buyer and team know what happens next.

The buyer stays at the center, supported by clear roles and respectful teamwork.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Before we work together.

Let's talk about the role, expectations, and where your experience could fit as D2D grows.

Are you accepting coach inquiries now?

Yes. We welcome interest from coaches and coaching organizations as D2D develops in Central Texas. Partnership conversations depend on buyer needs, program capacity, and fit. Sending an inquiry does not guarantee an immediate assignment.

What experience are you looking for?

Practical financial coaching experience, a clear explanation of your training or credentials, reliable follow-through, and comfort working with a broader professional team. We would discuss scope, references, capacity, and service expectations before any agreement.

Will buyers pay for coaching?

No. D2D participation and program financial coaching are free to buyers. The intended model funds coaching through program overhead rather than buyer fees.

How would a coach be compensated?

Compensation is a separate partnership discussion. Scope, capacity, service standards, and payment terms must be agreed before work begins. This page does not offer a rate, guaranteed caseload, or employment arrangement.

Does coaching replace the lender's assessment?

No. Coaches support preparation and follow-through. Lenders remain responsible for financing guidance and lending decisions. A completed coaching plan is not a mortgage approval.

Can a coaching organization express interest?

Yes. Individual coaches and organizations are welcome to tell us about their approach, team capacity, service area, and delivery format. We discuss what could fit the program's needs before forming a partnership.
